Optimization Specialist

We’re looking for a highly analytical Optimization Specialist that will take on all day-to-day aspects of optimizing our conversion funnel. Specifically, you’ll be responsible for scaling our signups, sales conversions, and repurchase conversions – driving performance in line with ROI targets. You should have exceptional knowledge of online split testing processes, and the value that they create in online marketplaces. In this role you will be living and breathing conversion rates, metrics, A/B testing, and continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the Head of Acquisitions, you will play an integral part of a highly productive, effective, and super data-driven team working to influence Swoon Editions’ growth and worldwide success.

  • Creating and managing new site-wide tests across all acquisition funnels
  • Monitoring and maintaining up-to-date analysis of conversion rate metrics
  • Creating and executing on a thoughtful pipeline of A/B testing initiatives
  • Thoughtful competitor conversion related benchmarking


  • A deep understanding of split testing strategies
  • Experience using split testing platforms, such as Optimizely
  • Very good analytical skills and generally tech-savvy
  • deally you know HTML, CSS, and Javascript
  • Structured, comfortable with multitasking and self starting
  • Affinity for e-commerce and online marketing, ideally a good understanding of the UK furniture market
  • Scrappy growth hacker, team player, communicative, and super nice to work with
