Rattan is the star of this show and we're pretty certain it'll get an encore.

We love it on vintage 1970s' pieces and we love it on our media unit. The Raphia, here, is our first rattan design.

Surrounding it in a dark stained wood, we've set a Contemporary tone – so you won't feel like you're living in your grandma's house (though that lady had great taste).

One word of warning, though – your hands will be all over its texture. Always.

Designs are made with natural materials and are handcrafted one at a time. There may be natural variations in colour and texture that are not product flaws, they make your design truly one-of-a-kind.

An original piece for the contemporary home, progressive and beautifully designed. In the Swoon Studio, we create with urban landscapes as our point of inspiration. Cracks running through concrete on city streets, the architecture of an old railway station, the birds-eye view of paths in a green space. We see the extraordinary within the ordinary. We use it to fuel a new wave of design.
