Inspired by the traditional Indian dowry box, the Saffron is a piece with a story to tell. Spotted by our co-founder in the corner of our artisan’s workshop in Jaipur, he thought they would make perfect toy boxes for his children. Beautifully intricate, its diamond pattern is entirely hand-painted in a deep shade of Midnight. The finishing touches are an antiqued wash and brass clasp, giving it a cherished heirloom look. Use them as blanket boxes at the foot of the bed, as unconventional coffee or side tables with storage for magazines and books, or in a little one’s bedroom for hidden treasures. Available in small, medium and large, try pairing with another of our storage boxes for an eclectic mix of pattern and colour.
